Bella

Adorable 6+ years old little Bella (Cinderella) was picked up as a frightened stray in San Jose. We’re not sure where she came from or what she endured on the streets, but this baby girl was on the defensive in the shelter environment. She’s improved tremendously at her foster home, where her spunky and loving personality is starting to shine.

Bella does well with slow introductions (with people and dogs alike) and letting her move at her own pace. But once she knows she can trust you, it’s all cuddles, kisses, and belly rubs. At her foster home, she loves to just relax next to her people while they work. And when it’s time to romp, she absolutely adores going for walks and gets very excited. She would make an excellent walking or hiking partner.

She likes other dogs, but she’s learning how to greet them properly. She’s growl with a wagging tail, and her foster family is working with her. She does fine with her four-legged foster siblings, but she’s not quite ready to play with the gang yet.

Bella has so much potential! The amount we’ve seen her blossom as she feels safe is amazing, and we know she’ll continue to flourish with love and attention. Could you use a little cutie in your life? Bella may be the girl for you!
