Maggie Mae is a well-mannered southern belle – from Texas, y’all! This affectionate cuddlebug loves being integrated into a family, and is used to accompanying her humans to cafes, bars, and restaurants. If you want a dog that you can take anywhere, Maggie’s your girl!
Maggie was brought up to display her good manners in all circumstances. She has politely greeted small children, enjoys saying “howdy” to other dogs, and was even nice to chickens when introduced! This eager-to-please girl also is crate-trained, knows sit, down, and shake, and has great recall.
Maggie is a born outdoorswoman, and loves snoozing in the sun, playing fetch with her humans, running on the beach, and visiting dog parks. She has been fine at dog boarding facilities, and likely would be fine at daycare.
Maggie is a 3.5-year-old, 65 lb. Rottie/bully mix. She has lived with cats in the past, and has met but not lived with small kids. As a result, we initially recommend her for a home with children over the age of 12, and only dog-savvy cats.
