Loyal Pluto is ready for his forever home!
Much like the no-longer-a-planet, this little guy wants to orbit his star: you! Pluto shadows his foster parents around the house and loves to cuddle close during relaxation time. But don’t let the snuggles fool you, this 2-year-old (17 pounds) boy has enough energy to be an exercise buddy for his humans or a playmate for any fur-siblings.
Pluto loves going on walks with his foster dog-brothers and has gotten along with all dogs and cats. He walks nicely on a leash and doesn’t react to people and dogs passing by. Pluto just needs human strangers to give him a little space and not touch him. If a stranger tries to touch, Pluto will give a warning bark and air-snap. This is easily (and adorably!) solved with a “do not pet” vest or sweater.
Pluto can meet new people if you planet carefully. Because his instinct is to avoid, houseguests just need to be told not to touch him. After a few visits and a proper introduction (we can show you how!), Pluto adjusts to the no-longer-strangers and will even give kisses! But because Pluto’s introductions need to be managed, he should only go to a home with children over 14 years old.
