Sophie

Our sweet mystery mix Sophie who is guessed to be 2 or so years old was found wandering the streets dragging a leash. Unfortunately she had no chip or tags, and nobody came looking for her. She also wasn’t spayed, and it looked like she may have recently had a litter. Sophie was so scared at the shelter and for the first couple of days at her foster home, but she has blossomed into a playful and energetic girl who loves to go for long walks and hikes. She follows her foster parents around and is always by their side.

We don’t know what Sophie went through in her former life, but she does bark at strangers who come too close on her walks and she gets anxious when her foster parents leave, but she’s getting more confident every day as she learns to trust. She’s friendly and playful with all dogs of all sizes, and she’s fine with cats too. She currently lives with two large dogs at her foster home.

In a nutshell, as her foster put it, “Sophie is cute, sweet, and fun.” The only thing she’s missing is a forever home. Did we mention she also has fabulous eyebrows? Someone will be lucky to add this little cutie to the family.
