Tina Turner

“What’s love got to do with it?” Well, when you’re little Tina Turner, EVERYTHING because you can’t help loving, and being loved by, everyone you meet! Tina’s former life was as a breeding dog in Mexico. San Pancho Animales rescued Tina, and she became an international traveler! This young Maltese-mix is glad to put her breeding days behind her and looks forward to a life of being pampered.

Tina is a little shy at first, but within a day will be inseparable from her humans. She just knows that her people are “simply the best.” Tina will bark at visitors at first, but will quickly quiet if they ignore her. Once she has sniffed the visitors’ hands and learned all about them, they will be fast friends!

Smart Tina learned to use a doggy door and to potty outside in only two days, and has already learned to walk nicely on a leash. She enjoys long walks and hikes, where she shows that she can keep up with her big foster-brothers even if the hike turns from “nice and easy” to “nice and rough.”

This loyal little girl does not like to be left alone. She will bark. Ideally, either Tina will be able to accompany her new fur-parent to work, or her parent will not leave her alone for very long. She is compatible with any fur-sibling, even cats, but needs her human siblings to be over the age of 12.
