Meet Stitch: Donate!

‼️‼️ Meet Stitch ‼️‼️

Stitch gets mistaken for the actor Macaulay Culkin all the time. Could it be his sweet, open, approachable face? His amazing blond hair? Or maybe it’s because he got left Home Alone during the holiday season! OOOOHHHH NOOOOO!!

Stitch was discovered shivering in the bushes on a rainy day, left without a home or family. A kind-hearted veterinarian (who is a dear friend and has taken care of so many of my cases including our Patoo throughout the years) rescued this little 16-pound lovebug. It quickly became clear that Stitch was an adventurous sweetheart with some medical conditions who had escaped from his family’s yard while they were away. Unfortunately, the medical costs were too high for his family, and they ultimately decided not to bring him back.

I am helping Doctor G raise $5,000 to cover Stitch’s medical expenses. Before he can be adopted into his forever home, he needs to be neutered, receive necessary medication, and possibly undergo surgery. Our dedicated veterinarian has done everything she can, but it appears that Stitch will require the assistance of an orthopedic specialist, a neurology specialist, and possibly knee surgery.

Please help Stitch by donating or sharing his story. Every dollar, every share, and each act of kindness can bring our brave little pup closer from Home Alone to Home for the Holidays. Stitch (or was it Kevin McAllister?) says, “Will you please tell Santa that instead of presents this year I want my family back?”

Please go to our Donate page or visit this link to donate, and please mention Stitch in comments:

$50 donation: “Keep the change, ya filthy animal!”

$100 donation: “Bless this highly nutritional microwaveable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale. Amen.”

$1,000 donation: “Merry Christmas, little fella. We know that you’re in there and that you’re all alone.

Joking aside, every dollar helps, friends …🌹🙏🐾😇

Adopt Me!: Lincoln

Little Lincoln is a charming grey tabby kitten, looking for his forever home!

Lincoln was found under a bush, scared and alone. We don’t know why anyone would do that to this friendly, playful boy! Lincoln enjoys playing with toys and other cats, and greets other cats politely. He also loves hanging out with his people. After an initial grumbly alert that a stranger is coming, Lincoln will happily make your friends his own. And all Lincoln’s friends get cuddles and nose-nuzzles!

Lincoln is a healthy boy, with lots of energy and a great appetite. He loves treats so much, you might even be able to train him! If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and endlessly entertaining kitten, Lincoln might be your perfect match.

Adopt Me!: Piper

I’m a sweet, loving girl with eyes that will melt your heart. When you get to know me, you’ll see that I’m very fun and happy… except when I’m begging for treats. Then I give the most persuasive sad-puppy eyes you’ve ever seen!

I used to live with a family in Fresno, but they moved and left me behind on the street. A neighbor realized what had happened, and contacted @oneplanetrescue. I’ve enjoyed being a pampered rescue pup, but I’m ready for my forever home!

My foster parents say I’m eager to please and to learn. Well, of course I am, because training brings treats! I’m almost done with puppy training and I love going for walks. Sometimes if my walk or my meal is late, I’ll give a teensy-weensy husky howl. But that’s just to remind you of the time; I quiet down right away once we’re back on schedule. Other than that, I’m a very quiet girl.

I love to play. If you’re busy, that’s ok, because I can entertain myself with a squeaky toy. I play nicely with my foster siblings: dogs, kids, and even a cat! I’m very silly and enjoy making my friends laugh. I also enjoy showing them my appreciation for saving me and giving me such a great life! If you adopt me, I promise I’ll give you thank-you kisses every day.

I’m about 1.5 years old, spayed, and healthy thanks to the good care from my foster parents and from One Planet Rescue. To learn more about me, and to arrange meeting me, please fill out this form: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow

Adopt Me!: Georgie

Foster to/or Adopt me!

Gorgeous Georgie will be the perfect companion for you and your fur-baby!

Georgie has beautiful hazel eyes; silky, can’t-stop-petting-them ears; a cute sploot; and a freckled snoot! But this 1.5-year-old boy has more to offer than just his good looks. He has heart and brains, too!

Georgie is a little shy with new people, likely due to past mistreatment. He needs a couple of weeks to fully settle into a new home. But all it takes to win Georgie’s trust and adoration is a little patience and kindness. Once you’re his person, Georgie will climb into your lap for kisses and cuddles! And if he thinks you’re sad, Georgie will wiggle on the ground until you laugh and scratch his belly!

Super-smart Georgie is already potty-trained, knows how to sit for a treat, and loves sleeping in his crate. He learned how to walk nicely on leash just by watching other dogs! With continued positive training, Georgie will be the most impressive dog in your neighborhood.

Georgie lights up around other friendly dogs, and would love a dog-sibling in his forever home. He is always ready to romp and play with a new dog-friend, but knows to be gentle with smaller dogs and to take correction from his elders. We know that he is a very special boy that deserves a loving home. If that could be with you, please fill out our online application: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow

Adopt Me!: Tito

Foster, Adopt OR Foster-to-Adopt me!

Sweet pittie Tito has beautiful eyes, a contagious grin… and a purr? Two-year-old Tito is healthy, potty trained, walks well on leash, and loves learning new tricks. Long hikes on the weekend get Tito’s energy out, and he spends his weekdays napping on blankets near his foster mom. Tito is easy-and naturally quiet. He rarely barks, but makes piggy snorts and purrs throughout the day. (We think he’s 1/3 dog, 1/3 cat, and 1/3 pig!)

Tito was shy when he arrived at the shelter, but warmed up with treats and attention. He trusts women a little more readily than men, but bonds tightly to any gentle person who shows him patience and love. Once you’re his person, sweet Tito enjoys giving kisses, getting couch cuddles, and making you laugh with silly bum-wiggles!

Tito loves other dogs, and easily made friends in shelter playgroups. He will be a fantastic brother for another dog. We haven’t yet asked Tito if he likes cats. Tito needs a dog-savvy home, ideally with a yard so Tito can roll around on the grass. (As we said – part pig.) We recommend a home without small children; Tito seems to like kids, but can be a bowling ball when he gets the zoomies. He needs a patient family that commits to positive training methods – this gentle boy needs spoiling, not discipline! If you can give that to Tito, he will repay you with silliness, loyalty, and love.

Adopt Me!: Emma

Small, sweet Emma will melt your heart with her beautiful hazel eyes!

One-year-old (30 pounds) Emma was abandoned in Mexico, and lived on scraps for several months. Emma’s foster home has slowly taught her that people can be trusted. She is a gentle and loving puppy, and needs a family that will be patient and gentle while she learns they are safe. After a couple of weeks, Emma will show her trust by cuddling up on the couch and burrowing under your blankets at bedtime!

Emma already is house-trained. Once she knows your home is safe, she can be left alone during the day without a fuss. (Chew toys help!) If Emma has backyard access, she even will play ball by herself to burn off excess energy.

Emma’s favorite cue is “let’s go for a walk” – her little legs will rush right over if you say it! She loves to explore the smells of her world, and will sometimes greet polite, dog-savvy people and dogs. Although she’s a little girl, Emma needs a home that will exercise her brain with games and training, and her body with lots of outdoor access.

Emma gets along well with other dogs, and respects cats that she knows. We feel she would be much happier if she lives with other dogs … She loves playing with the toddler in her foster family and could live with dog-savvy children.

If you’re interested to meet Emma, we ask that you fill out THIS form: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow Thank you!

Adopt Me!: Yodi

Gentle giant Yodi is ready for his forever home!

This easy-going boy loves cuddles and making his people happy. Luckily, he’s great at both! If you want to laugh, just turn on a sprinkler and Yodi will frolic in the water. If you want to cry, Yodi will climb on your lap and lick your face. Yodi is ready to be whatever you need!

Yodi isn’t just cuddly, he’s smart! He already knows sit, shake, and down. He is already crate-trained, and is comfortable waiting in his crate while you run errands. Yodi loves food and treats, so will be able to learn even more with positive-reinforcement training.

Yodi likes chew toys and is learning to play fetch. He behaves well on walks, and is always excited to meet other dogs.

Yodi would love a home with a dog-sibling! He will also enjoy being the one and only if he gets his daily walks and exposure to other dogs and humans. He likes kids, but because he turns into a bit of a cannonball when he runs, we think he should not live with small children. Yodi hasn’t told us yet what he thinks of cats but he seemed to not care about them when we passed by the cat colony.

To arrange a meeting with Yodi, we ask that you help us learn more about you and your household by filling out our online application: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow

Adopt Me!: Rocky

Foster, adopt, or foster-to-adopt Rocky. Rocky is a very handsome boy, intelligent and a quick learner! This 5+ year-old already is house-trained, great on leash, dog- and cat-friendly, neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. Although Rocky was neglected and possibly abused in the first few years of his life, he wants to trust and love people when given the time and space that he needs to approach them at his own pace. Rocky loves car rides and the outdoors, and is great indoors. He is curious, smart, and makes a great companion to a dog-savvy person/family who can be kind and patient. Rocky just needs to learn that it’s safe to relax and have fun, to be happy in our human-centric world. Rocky is looking for a loving home with no children and a commitment to working with Rocky. His family needs to provide him with adequate mental and physical enrichment and activities, help him build his confidence, and train him using force-free, positive, reward-based methods. This is crucial for lowering his fears and anxieties as well as avoiding situations that will stress him out or make him feel helpless and vulnerable. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Rocky, please reach out to Farah Ravon. Your kindness could unlock a world of joy and companionship with Rocky as your loyal friend! We will consider a foster, adopt, or foster-to-adopt arrangement. Link to our online application for foster or adopt: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow

Adopt Me!: Noel

Noel is a beautiful brown-and-white Siberian Husky with the most charming demeanor. Her gorgeous eyes tell how much she loves you.

Noel loves activity – walks, hikes, and playing with other dogs. But she loves her people so much that if you need a lazy day, she’ll happily cuddle up with you! Noel listens very well and would love to have a job, or a human who does advanced training with her.

Noel gets a little separation anxiety when left alone, but is working on this in training. She loves toys (especially destroying stuffies!), so puzzles that challenge her brain may help her learn to appreciate solo time. Noel knows how to be quiet when asked, and even behaves for her baths! With continued positive training, she will shine.

Noel gets along well with her foster dog-siblings, and even defers to her dog-savvy cat-sibling! She would love to have fur-siblings in her forever home. We recommend a home with only older human siblings because Noel (adorably!) is afraid of small children.

To arrange meeting Miss Noel, we ask that you help us learn more about you and your household by filling out our online application: http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow
